Rave Review : Freeman Facial Clay Mask

I've been meaning to post about this clay mask for a while but after awhile I just forgot about it. But anyway this little baby has turned into my favourite face mask and is a definite must in my weekly face routine. It's an Avocado and Oatmeal clay mask.I like to use it once a week as I feel it doesn't need to be used any more than that but that's just personal preference. What I love the most about it is the smell and I know what your thinking it's avocado and oatmeal but it smells nothing like that, infact it smells like marshmallows thats right you heard me marshmallows its delicious and one of the main reasons I love this mask so much.

I think smell is a huge factor in products for me, a product could work fantastically but if it smells funky or I don't like the smell then I won't continue to use the product which seems to be the case for things like face wipes for example. What I also love is that I picked this up for $10 at Coles.I don't think the freeman brand is available anywhere else or at least I haven't seen it anywhere else.

What it claims : This rich clay mask, with added Oatmeal and Vitamin E, draws out excess oils and dirt, purging clogged pores, leaving your skin clean and soft.

I have to agree this product does as it claims to and my skin definetly feels cleaner after each use. I also like that this product isn't tested on animals! Overall its a great clay mask that does as it claims to and smells like marshmallows honestly whats not to love!

30 Day Spending Ban!

This past week has been pretty full on and I Really haven’t found a moment to myself, during this time I have decided that I am going to go on a spending ban, since I started blogging the need/want for makeup has increased to the point where I am purchasing multiple products on a weekly basis and while I’m not complaining my bank account is! I believe on a weekly basis I would easily say that I’m spending at least a good $30 a week on makeup/ beauty products which could certainly be put to better use. It’s time to get back to basics and purchases things when I really want or need them, and rather than just grab products and be lenient on the total I should stick to it! I’ve gotten to the point where I have everything that I need and I’m just purchasing things just because I want them. My Goal at the end of this ban is to 1.not so easily justify a spend. 2. Replenish my bank account. 3. Only purchase products when I really want/need them.
The Rules for this ban are simple for the next 30 days I will not purchase any makeup or beauty products, the only way I will have any new products during this time is if it is bought for me. I’ll do 2 updates one in the middle of my ban and the second update at the end of the ban. I really hope that I will be successful in this ban and will continue to do these bans in the future and possibly even make the length of the ban greater! While the idea of a ban isn’t fun I know that it will be very beneficial for me and I’m hoping I can put a few more dollars back into bank account. Wish me luck guys! I’m feeling pretty confident going into this ban however theres time for me to give in.

Lush Haul

I know i'm a little late on the band wagon but better late then never right? Finally went into lush with the intention of just looking around but of course that was never to be and I walked out with two goodies! My sister went in there to look for bath bombs and she got two really nice smelling ones which as the lady informed us also double as shaving cream! She got the Twilight  and the Cream Candy which smell divine  now I'm not a bath person but would definetly buy a lush bath bomb and have a bath there so nice! Anyway now onto what I got.

A lip tint in the shade A Million Kisses the formulation of this is beautiful really soft and creamy, its highly pigmented a coat and a half is all you need to get a bold deep red.

The only thing I had heard people rave about from lush was the Bubblegum lip scrub. It also came in a minty and coco flavour but I thought that bubblegum was the best. Its perfect to use now as were in the colour months and theres nothing worse than having dry chapped lips. An added bonus is that you can lick the product right of your lips! YUM.

The last thing I purchased wasn't from lush, at target they have pretty much 25% of all cosmetic items! SCORE definetly go and check it out. I've been loving my Maybelline Color Tattoo I already have 3 and have been eyeing them of they are usually $11.95 but with 25% off it was $8.95 I got this one in the shade Pomegranate Punk which I would describe as a pinky red metallic colour which is a great autumn colour.

Excuse the photos I know there not the best but its raining here on the coast today (again) and I thought I would smash some posts out! I was also really excited about my lush haul and am really excited to go back and try other products. If you have any lush products what's your favourite? What would you recommend?

Makeup for the day!

So i'm on a mission to make sure I post at least ONCE a week so today I thought I would post my makeup for the day. Now bare with me I am a little bit nervous to post my face out there once it's out there's no taking it back! But it was always going to happen better sooner than later right? Don't let what others think effect you right? ..... right? well here it is, today was one of those blah days and I really just made it up as I went but I'm pretty chuffed with how it turned out.

So I'm lovin my hair at the moment I recently got it relaxed again which means I don't have to worry about my pesky wavy roots, I've also used the ' Hair that never grows past a certain length' hair mask by Lee Stafford, I've used this mask 3 times now and am really loving it! perhaps my next post will be a review of it?

On my lips I have my favourite lipstick the ' Kate Moss' Lipsticks by Rimmell  in the shade 22 which is a bright red and 19 which is a nude colour.

On my eyes I went for a nude smokey eye, I based it with the essence ' I love stage' eye primer, Then I used 2 of the shimmer colours from the Chi Chi 'Glamourous Nudes' pallette and then used a sparkly mahogany colour on the outside corner of my eye and also in my crease. I lined it with Mac Fluidline and used my faovurite mascara Benefit They're Real.

Yep, so there it is! I've done it so maybe you will be seeing more of my face?.... or not
p.s don't forget to follow me on bloglovin! please and thankyou

Benefit Order!

How exciting my very first order from Benefit but certainly not my last! I was first introduced to this brand by my December LHI box with the travel size of the They're Real Mascara which has quickly turned into my favourite mascara. I think the formulation is great but the brush is also fantastic a few coats and my lashes have doubled not only in length but they also look fuller! It also dosent clump on my lashes leaving them feeling heavy and thick. American RRP $23 Australian RRP $38
My Natural lashes ( how sad)

One coat of Mascara you can already see the difference!

2 Coats of Mascara i'm pretty happy with how it looks but a huge improvement in length and fullness of my lashes

So the reason behind my order was for the mascara but I also wanted to try other products that had been popular amongst other bloggers/vloggers. I will say here as we all know the price of makeup in Australia is just about double the price in America but if you purchase from the Benefit Website you pay the american price and if you order over $130 you get free international shipping and your choice of two free samples! it took about a week and a half to get to me which is pretty good.

As of late I have noticed the my pores around my t-zone have gotten  bigger or perhaps I didn't notice them before, The Porefessional is a fantastic product that smooths over those areas. When I applied makeup with out it, my pores where highlighted as the makeup would make them look larger. You can apply it before or after foundation but I like to use it before and you can use it to touch up after you've got your full face on.
American RRP $30 Australian RRP $53

Bella Bamba Blush, its a medium shade pink with shimmers. It's also scented, it suits my skin well and is my go to blush at the moment. The lid on this is different to the other blush and bronzer as the lid flips open as opposed to it coming completely off it also has a mirror in it unlike the other ones I have. American RRP $28     Australian RRP $51

Thrrob Blush this is a lighter Pink blush with shimmers I havn't used this one yet.
American RRP $28 Australian RRP $51

Hoola Bronzer a popular bronzer that needs no introduction, I find this bronzer similar to the MUA Bronzed Perfection and since that one has smashed AGAIN! I'm reaching for this one instead. American RRP $28 Australian RRP $51 The Hoola Bronzer and the Thrrob blush came in an online only special where the two of them cost $38 together! I have the say I think the brushes that come with the bronzer and blushes are so cute and soft!

Boing Concealer  in shade 3 it claims to be an industrial strength concealer and I have to agree it really does conceal my blemishes like no other concealer before highly recommend this concealer! American RRP $20 Australian RRP $ 37

The 2 free samples I chose were the Fine One One brightening cheek and lip trio. Stay don't stray primer.

I also received a free purple velvet eyeshaddow in the shade Fancy Pansy using a discount code! American RRP $18

Benefit has quickly become my favourite high-end makeup brand and I'm already lusting over a few more products! Have you tried any of these products? Got a fav of your own?
